Sweta Clinic

Sweta Clinic is tucked into the Jai Ram Mukadam Chawl along S P Road. This is in the Dharkhadi area of Dahisar, Mumbai. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people living close together. Our clinic is a simple space that has been part of this community for a while. We aren't a big, shiny medical center. It’s just a few rooms where we see our neighbors and help them out when they are feeling under the weather. Being in a chawl means we are right in the thick of things. You can always hear the sounds of the street and the people living nearby. We open up the clinic every day and wait for whoever needs us. There isn't any fancy decor or expensive furniture here. We just have the basics to get the job done. Many of the people who come in have been our neighbors for years. We know their stories and their families. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a website or big advertisements. Word gets around from person to person. We just try to be a helpful part of Dharkhadi. The 400068 area is always moving fast, but we keep our pace steady. We just show up, open the doors, and do our work until it’s time to go home.
