Suraj Clinic

You can find us at Suraj Clinic on the first floor of the Nightingale building. We are located right by the State Bank on LBS Marg in the Kamani section of Kurla West. Being on the first floor means it stays a little quieter than the street level, but the hustle of the market is still right there. The office is pretty basic. We have a small bench for patients and the medical area where the consultations happen. It’s a place where we deal with everyday health problems. People from the surrounding buildings come in for all sorts of things. We don't have a big reception staff, so sometimes you have to wait a minute for someone to notice you've walked in. The walls are a bit scuffed from years of use, but we keep the place clean. It’s a no-nonsense type of clinic. We just do the work we need to do. Most of our days are spent checking blood pressure, writing prescriptions, and talking to patients about their symptoms. It’s a local spot where people feel comfortable because it’s not intimidating or overly corporate. We just open the doors in the morning and see who needs help. It’s a straightforward way to run a clinic in a busy city area like Kurla. We’ve been at this for several years now and the routine is pretty set. We just try to stay helpful. The ceiling fan clicks a bit, but it keeps the air moving well enough. We usually close up once the streetlights come on.
