Suraj Clinic

We are based on the first floor of the Nightingale building in Kurla West. It is right next to the State Bank on L.B.S. Marg, so it is quite easy to find if you are coming from the main road. The area around Kamani is always buzzing with people and traffic, and our clinic is no different. We see a lot of walk-ins throughout the day. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so people have to be careful when they come up. Inside, we have a small waiting area and the consultation room. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. We just provide basic medical care for the local community. Sometimes the wait times get a bit long in the evenings because everyone finishes work at the same time and heads over. We do our best to see everyone who needs help. The noise from L.B.S. Marg comes right through the windows, but you get used to it after a while. It’s a functional space where we handle fevers, aches, and regular check-ups. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers and residents nearby. It is just a regular neighborhood clinic doing its thing in a very busy part of Mumbai. We keep the floors scrubbed and the lights on until the last patient finally leaves for the night. It is a humble place, really. We've got a water cooler in the corner and some old plastic folders for the records.
