If you're looking for Surabhi Marbles, we are located on Nadirsha Sukhia Street. We are pretty easy to find because we're right near the petrol pump. Dealing in marble is a heavy business, so our place is full of stone slabs and pieces of all sizes. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, but that’s what happens when you work with stone. We’ve been on Nadirsha Sukhia Street for a good while now. People in the neighborhood know us for the marble sitting out. It’s not a polished showroom like you might see in a big mall. It’s more of a yard and a simple office where we talk to customers and figure out what they need for their floors or counters. The street itself can be narrow and crowded, but we make it work. When a delivery comes in, it takes over the whole front area. We don't have any big sales pitches here. We just show you the stone and tell you the price. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. Most of the day is spent moving things around or cleaning up the stone dust. We like being near the petrol pump because it’s a good landmark for people who haven’t visited us before. It's just us and the marble, day in and day out, keeping things simple. We have different kinds of stone coming in every week so there is always something new to look at. We keep the yard as tidy as we can.
