We have been here in Bandra West at A-11 for a good while now. It gets pretty loud on some days because of the machines running, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. Most of the time, the floor is covered in metal shavings or bits of wire that need sweeping up at the end of the shift. We do a lot of fixing and putting things together that other people have trouble with. It isn't a fancy office with leather chairs or anything like that. Just a bunch of workbenches, some heavy tools, and enough light to see what we are doing. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break for ten minutes before getting back to a motor or some piping that needs attention. People around the neighborhood know where we are if they need something sorted out. The sign outside has faded a bit over the years from the sun and the rain, but we are still here every morning. It’s a lot of manual labor and figuring out why a machine stopped making the right sound. We don't spend much time on computers unless we really have to. Most of the knowledge is just in our hands and the way things feel when they are working right. The address is easy to find if you know Bandra, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare on the weekends. We just keep our heads down and get the jobs done as they come in.
