Sunrise Engineers (India) sits at 57 Dr. M.G. Mahimtura Marg. It’s in the 3rd Kumbharwada area, specifically Shakhre Bhavan, Shop No. 1. If you've ever walked through these lanes, you know it’s a tight squeeze. The shop isn't massive, but we pack a lot of engineering stuff into the space we have. Most of the time, the air smells like oil and metal shavings. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Neighbors know us as the place to go when they need something specific for a repair or a project. It gets crowded on the street with handcarts and deliveries going back and forth all afternoon. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk up to the counter and talk to whoever is free. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait if we’re digging through the back to find a part that isn't right on the shelf. The building itself, Shakhre Bhavan, has seen a lot of years go by. We keep the lights on and the tools ready. It’s just how things are done in this part of the city. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. We just listen to what people need and see if we have it or can make it work. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s engineering for you. We keep our heads down and stay busy from the morning until we close up for the night.
