Sumtinath

Sumtinath is located right at Shop No 13 on Shiv Vallabh X Road in Dahisar. We are tucked away near the last bus stop for the 298 route, so there is always a lot of people walking by and noise from the buses idling. It is a busy little corner of Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg where things never really stay quiet for long. I have been working out of this shop for years, and most of the regulars know me by name now. It isn't a big space, but we make it work by stacking things high and keeping everything we need within reach. Dealing with the daily crowd from the bus stop keeps us on our toes. Some mornings I am here before the first bus arrives just to get the shutters up and everything sorted out. The rain sometimes leaks a bit near the front door during monsoon, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. It is just a regular local business where we try to handle what comes our way. My brother comes in to help during the afternoons when it gets really crowded. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the shop number and the name. People find us because they live nearby or they're waiting for their ride home. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stock, but it feels like home after all this time spent here on the ground floor. We usually lock up once the last bus leaves.
