Sukhshanti Clinic

Sukhshanti Clinic is tucked away in shop number five of the Mamta Society. We are located in the Dr. Ambedkar Nagar area, which is right behind the Rajarshi Shahu Nagar School. If you are familiar with the Matunga Labour Camp, you will know exactly where we are situated. It is a very local neighborhood, and our clinic reflects that. We aren't some big institution with multiple branches; we are just this one shop serving the people around the labor camp and the nearby society. The school is a big landmark for us, so if you find the school, you’ve basically found us. The space inside is small but we make it work. It gets quite lively when the kids are getting out of school or when the market is busy. We know most of our patients by their first names because they live just a few doors down or a couple of streets away. There is a real sense of community in this part of Matunga, and we are happy to be a small part of it. We don't use fancy medical jargon or try to act more important than we are. We just open up the shop, clean the floors, and wait for whoever needs us that day. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We’ve been here through the hot summers and the monsoons, just keeping the clinic open for the neighborhood and whoever walks through that shop door.
