Sukanya Optics & Contact Lens Clinic

Sukanya Optics & Contact Lens Clinic is situated in the Centre Point Building, right at G/3. We’re across from the State Bank of India and not far from Diamond Garden on 18th Road. It’s a good location because people can find us easily when they’re out doing their banking or walking in the garden. We have a lot of frames on display, and there’s a small room in the back where we do the eye tests. The building is one of those typical commercial ones with lots of different businesses. It can get a bit crowded in the hallway sometimes. We spend most of our time helping people pick out glasses that don't look too bad on them or showing them how to put in contact lenses without blinking too much. It’s a lot of squinting at small charts and adjusting the lights. We have a mirror that’s a bit loose on the wall, but it still works for seeing how the frames look. 18th Road is a busy place, and there's always someone coming in to get their glasses tightened because they sat on them or something. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. It’s a steady kind of work. We’ve been at Centre Point for a while now, and it’s just our daily routine of checking eyes and fixing lenses for whoever walks in.
