Suhas Hydrosystems

If you head down LBS Marg in Vikhroli West, you'll find the Harichand Textile Mill Compound. That’s where we set up Suhas Hydrosystems. We work mainly on tipping systems and hydraulic parts. The compound has that old industrial feel to it, which suits the kind of work we do. It’s often greasy and there are parts lying around on the benches, but that’s just the nature of working with hydraulics. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor actually putting things together or checking for leaks in the systems. It’s hands-on work, and we don't really have a separate office staff to handle the phones. Usually, whoever isn't under a truck or at the lathe picks up when it rings. We’ve learned everything we know by just doing it day after day. People bring their equipment to us because they know we’ve seen most of these problems before. We don't use any fancy diagnostic software; it’s mostly just looking at the valves and pistons to see what’s worn out. The location on LBS Marg is convenient for a lot of the transport companies nearby. We don't bother with much advertising because word usually gets around when you do a decent job on a repair. It's a busy life, and there's always something to be welded or a seal to be replaced before we can head home for the evening.
