Stationery World

Stationery World is a small local shop in the Tirath Sagar building. We are in Shop-3 of Bldg-2, right Off New Link Road in Malad (W). We are sitting Opp. Goregaon Sport Club, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise around us. The shop itself is quite packed with all sorts of things. We have pens, pencils, notebooks, and folders stacked all the way to the ceiling on some shelves. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two customers come in at the same time. We do not have any fancy displays or a modern layout. Things are just placed wherever we can find a bit of empty shelf space. We spend the whole day helping people find specific items like a certain type of ink or a specific size of envelope. It involves a lot of standing and talking to our neighbors. Sometimes kids from the local schools come in for project supplies, and other times it is just people from the nearby offices needing some paper. We have been in this spot for a long time, so we know most of the regulars by name. The traffic on P G Marg can get pretty bad during the rush hour, but inside the shop, it is usually just the hum of the fan. We do not do any big sales or marketing. It is just a simple neighborhood store trying to keep the right things in stock.
