S.P. Samdaria Enterprises

Our office is tucked away at 35-A, Banganga Cross Lane, inside the Navyug Sadan building. It is on the 6th floor, so we get a bit of a breeze from the Walkeshwar Road side, which is nice during the summer months. S.P. Samdaria Enterprises is not a huge operation by any means. We have about three rooms that are mostly filled with filing cabinets and old ledgers that we probably should have thrown away years ago. The elevator in this building is quite temperamental, so many of us end up taking the stairs more often than we would like. It keeps us fit, I suppose. The area around here is mostly residential, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main market areas, though the traffic on the main road can be a nightmare during rush hour. We usually start our day around ten because there is no point trying to fight the morning commute any earlier. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know each other's families and what is going on in the neighborhood. We don't bother with corporate meetings or long presentations. We just talk across the hallway if something needs to get done. The furniture is mismatched and the floor tiles are chipped in places, but it feels like a second home to us. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving along without too much fuss or trouble for anyone.
