Sonam Ceramic

Sonam Ceramic is our little shop in Parel. We are at Shop No 4 in Ebrahim Manzil. The area is known as Dr A Parel Code Block. We are right opposite the Rangoli Time Complex, which most people know. We sell ceramics and tiles. The shop is filled with stacks of samples. It is not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. If you are looking for a specific color or pattern, we usually have to dig it out from the back. We have been here for years. The building is old but it works for us. Parel has changed a lot with all the new malls and towers, but our street still feels like the old days. We get a mix of customers, some regulars and some who just saw the sign while passing by. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it is just one or two of us here to help. We talk to people, show them what we have, and give them the price. It is straightforward. We don't go for the hard sell. If you like it, you buy it. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors while waiting for customers. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for the noise from the main road. We enjoy being here in Parel. It is a good place to run a small business. We just take things one day at a time.
