Soham Food Services

Soham Food Services is on Laxmipura Road 57 in Dadar East. Dadar is always crowded, and Laxmipura Road is no different. We mostly focus on providing meals for people who don't have time to cook at home. We have big stainless steel containers that we fill up every day. It’s a lot of rice, dal, and vegetables. We start very early, usually before the sun is even up, to get the first batch ready. The kitchen is full of steam and the sound of pressure cookers whistling. We don't have a dining room, it’s more of a service point where people pick up their tiffins or we send them out. The delivery boys are always coming and going on their scooters. We have a big ledger where we write down who gets what. Sometimes we lose a pen and everyone is searching for it while the food is getting cold. We don't use any fancy packaging, just simple boxes that work. Dadar East is a place where everyone is in a hurry. We try to be the one thing that is consistent for them. The rent is high and the space is tight, but we make it work. We've been at number 57 for a good while. It's just a regular job for us. We clean the pots, mop the floor, and get ready for the next morning.
