Sm Marbles & Granites

We’ve been running Sm Marbles & Granites for a while now at Shop No-264/2924 in Motilal Nagar. It’s right on M.G. Road, not far from Anmol Party Hall. If you know Goregaon West, you know how busy this stretch gets every single day. People stop by looking for stuff for their floors or kitchens, and we just try to show them what’s currently in the yard. It’s mostly granites and different marbles we keep in stock. We don’t have a big fancy office, just the shop where we keep the samples and talk to anyone who walks in. Some days it’s quiet and other days it’s a bit of a rush with trucks coming in. We handle the loading and unloading ourselves mostly. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, literally. The stones come in different slabs, and we try to keep them organized so people can actually see the patterns without moving everything around. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Being near the party hall means there’s always something going on nearby. We just stay focused on the stone work and getting orders sorted for whoever needs them. It’s a straightforward business, really. We don't do much talking, just show the pieces and see if they fit what someone is looking for in their house. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just how it is working with marble. We’re usually here most of the day.
