S.L.Raheja Hospital

S.L.Raheja Hospital has been a fixture here in Mahim for quite some time. If you know the area, you know how busy the streets get around here. The hospital is right in the middle of all that Mahim energy. Inside, it’s a whole different world of quiet hallways and the smell of floor cleaner. We have a lot of different departments spread across the floors, so there’s always someone running a cart or a stretcher down the hall. The staff here come from all over the city, taking the train or the bus to get to their shifts. It’s a big building, and sometimes it feels like a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We see a lot of different cases every day, from people just needing a quick test to those who have to stay with us for a week or two. The canteen downstairs is usually full of families sitting together and talking. It’s not a shiny new private clinic with velvet chairs. It’s a working hospital where the elevators are always busy and the nurses are usually moving fast. We try to keep things organized, but on Mondays, it can get pretty hectic with all the new admissions. We just do what needs doing to make sure everyone is looked after before the sun goes down. Most of the time we are just keeping our heads down and doing the job.
