Ashirwad Heart Hospital

We are located in the Vivek Building, number 1/67, over on Tilak Road in Ghatkopar East. It’s a good spot because the Lions Club Garden is right nearby, which is nice for a bit of green in the middle of the city. Ashirwad Heart Hospital isn't a giant skyscraper like some of the newer medical centers. We are a more modest setup here in the Vivek Building. Dealing with heart issues means things can get quite serious, but we try to keep the atmosphere as calm as possible. The hallways are narrow and we have to be careful when moving equipment around. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. I’ve spent many nights here watching the monitors and making sure everyone is stable. The walls are a plain off-white color and could probably use some pictures, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We get patients from all over Ghatkopar East. Many of them are elderly people who have lived in this neighborhood their whole lives. It’s a lot of responsibility, and the days can be very long. We drink a lot of tea in the small breakroom to keep ourselves going. It’s not a flashy place with polished marble floors, but we have the equipment we need to do our jobs properly. We just focus on the patients and try to keep everything running smoothly here on Tilak Road.
