Asian Heart Hospital

Asian Heart Hospital is based right here in Mumbai. It is a big, fast-paced city and our hospital definitely feels like a part of that. We are a large facility, so there are always doctors, nurses, and families rushing through the corridors. It is a serious place because heart health is not something to take lightly, but we try to keep the atmosphere from feeling too cold or scary. The lobby is usually full of people, and you can hear the city noise even from some of the inner rooms. We have a lot of different departments spread out, and sometimes it feels like a maze if you aren't used to it. We do not go in for fancy slogans or anything like that. We just have a lot of work to do every single day. The canteen food is okay, nothing special, but it gets the job done for the staff and the families staying over. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Mumbai over the years, but the hospital has stayed pretty much the same in its goal. We just want to help people get back on their feet. It is a lot of long shifts and late nights for everyone working here. We aren't perfect, and sometimes things are a bit chaotic when it is busy, but we do our best to take care of the people who come to us. That is just the way it is in a big Mumbai hospital.
