Bharat Engineering Welding Works

Bharat Engineering Welding Works is right here at Shukla Estate, specifically shop number 3 and 4 on Ready Road. We've been doing this for a while now. The shop is usually busy with sparks flying and the sound of metal being worked on. It is not a fancy place, just a regular welding shop where we get things done. Most days, you will find us fixing gates or joining parts for whatever project comes through the door. It gets quite hot inside, especially during the afternoons, but that is part of the job. We moved into this spot because it's easy for people around Ready Road to find us. There is always some iron or steel lying around waiting for the torch. Some people think welding is just sticking two pieces of metal together, but there is a lot of heat and careful hand movements involved so the joints hold up. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workbench and the machines. If you walk past Shukla Estate, you can probably hear the grinders going. It’s a messy job, and our clothes usually have a few burn holes by the end of the week. We just keep our heads down and finish the work people bring us. Sometimes it’s a small repair, other times it takes all day. That’s just how it goes here at the shop. We try to be fair with how we work and just keep the machines running. It is honest work and we are glad to be here.
