Godiji Constructions

We are based out of Room No. 6 in the Wadia Building, which is on R. K. Vaidya Road in Dadar West. We are quite close to the Plaza Cinema, so it’s easy for people to find the general area. The building is one of those older ones with high ceilings and heavy doors. Our office is simple, with just a few tables pushed together to make a workspace for Godiji Constructions. We have rolls of blueprints and site plans leaning against the corners of the room. Construction is a messy business, so there is often some grit on the floor despite our best efforts. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to site supervisors or checking on materials. The view from our room is just the street and the tops of some trees. It’s a lively part of Dadar, and we can hear the buses and the chatter of people going to the movies. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception desk. If someone comes by, they usually just walk in and we have a chat. We have an old cupboard where we keep the site helmets and some boots. It’s not a polished corporate environment, just a place where we plan out the work and keep track of the progress. We usually stay until late in the evening.
