Shroff Eye Clinic

Shroff Eye Clinic is on the first floor of Gobind Mahal, which is at 86-B Netaji Subhash Road. Most people just know this area as Marine Drive. It’s a nice spot because you can see the ocean from some of the windows in the building. Gobind Mahal is an older building with a lot of character, and we’ve been up here on the first floor for a long time. Getting up the stairs is part of the daily routine for us. The clinic itself is focused on eyes, so we have all those charts with the letters on the walls. It’s a bit quiet inside compared to the busy road outside. We spend our days looking at people’s eyes and helping them see a bit better. The equipment we use is well-maintained, even if the rooms themselves look a bit dated. We don't have a big reception team, just a couple of people to handle the appointments and the files. People from all over Mumbai come here because of our location on Marine Drive. Sometimes we get distracted by the view of the sea, especially when the weather is nice, but there is always work to be done. We deal with glasses, contacts, and all the usual eye checks. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren’t a big fancy hospital, just a local eye clinic in an old building trying to do right by our patients who come to visit us.
