Shri Ram Clinic

Shri Ram Clinic is on the ground floor in Tanaji Nagar, Malad East. It’s a small place for local people. We see a lot of kids and elderly patients. The area is quite crowded. The clinic has a few plastic chairs for waiting. I am usually at the desk or helping the doctor. We’ve been here for a while now. Malad East 400097 is a big area but Tanaji Nagar is like a small village inside it. Everyone knows everyone else. We handle coughs, colds, and minor injuries. Nothing too serious. If it's big, we tell them to go to the hospital. The walls are painted a light blue color. It’s a bit peeling in the corners. We try to keep it clean. The street outside is always full of kids playing. Sometimes it’s hard to hear the patients because of the noise. We don't have an appointment system, people just show up and wait their turn. It’s a fair way to do it. The doctor is a kind person who listens. We have a small cabinet for medicines. It’s a very basic setup. No fancy decorations. Just a place to get better. I start my shift at ten and we stay until the last patient leaves. Sometimes that's very late at night. It’s a good service for the people living in the chawls and apartments around here. We just try to help out our neighbors when they aren't feeling well or need some medical advice. That is just how we run things every day.
