Jayesh J Mehta here. I’ve got this small setup in Kandivali West, over in the Ranchhod Nagar side of things. It’s a busy area and there is always something going on outside the door. I started this because I needed a place to work that wasn't my living room, and it’s grown into a daily routine. Most mornings I’m here by nine, unlocking the shutters and getting the computer started. It takes a minute to warm up. Chandlodiya is right nearby too, so we get people from all over this section of the city. My desk is usually covered in notes and old pens that barely work, but I know where everything is. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a room with some chairs and the stuff I need to get through the day. Sometimes the neighbors come in to chat about the local news or the weather. It can be a bit dusty because of the construction down the road, but we keep it clean enough. I don't really have a fancy philosophy about business. I just try to handle each task as it comes and make sure I don't forget any appointments. Life in Kandivali is fast, but inside here, things move at a pace I can manage. I usually have tea around four and then wrap things up when it gets dark and the streetlights come on.
