Shreeram Machinery Services

Our workshop for Shreeram Machinery Services is in the B Wing of the Nahar & Seth Industrial Area. We are tucked inside the Pannalal Compound on LBS Marg in Bhandup West. It’s a massive area with a lot of different businesses, so it took us a while to get settled in. Our space at number 249 is mostly used for repairs and storing parts for various machines. We have shelves lining every wall, and they are usually overflowing with bits and pieces that we might need later. It’s hard to keep it all tidy when new parts are coming in every day. The elevator in the building is a bit temperamental, so we often end up using the stairs even when we are carrying heavy tools. It keeps us fit, I suppose. The air in the compound is always thick with the smell of oil and grease. We don't mind it much. Most of our day is spent fixing things that have broken down. It’s satisfying to see a machine working again after it’s been sitting dead on the floor. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few mechanics who know their way around an engine. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs and talk about the news when we have a break. We stay open late sometimes if a customer has an emergency with their equipment. It's just part of the job and we've been doing this for years now. It's good work for us.
