Shree Rukshmani Stone Co is right in the middle of the Bazar on Maulana Azad Road. We occupy Plot No. 335/337 in the Khetwadi area, specifically in the Kumbharwada section. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Golden Temple, which helps people find the way through the crowded streets. This part of the city is always packed with people and the noise of traffic is constant. Working with stone is a heavy and dusty business, so our place usually has a layer of grit on everything. We have slabs and blocks stored in every corner of the plot. It is a bit of a maze sometimes when we are trying to find a specific piece of stone for a customer. The area has a lot of history and we have watched many shops around us change over the years. We don't have a modern office or anything like that. It is just a desk near the entrance where we keep the ledgers and a few chairs for when someone stops by to talk. My hands are usually pretty rough from handling the material all day.
