Shree Manibhadra Marble Granite

Operating a shop like Shree Manibhadra Marble Granite in Mumbai Central is a real challenge every day. We are located at Shop No-1, 335/337 on Maulana Azad Road North, which is also known as Duncan Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded and loud this area gets. There are people, carts, and vehicles moving in every direction at all hours. Our shop is quite packed with different types of marble and granite samples leaning against the walls. We have to be very careful how we move things because there isn't much space to spare. Most of the time, we are busy talking to contractors or showing people the different patterns in the stone. The humidity in Mumbai can be tough, especially when we are moving heavy pieces of marble. We drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade of the shop. Duncan Road has a lot of history and we feel like we are just one small part of it. We don't have any big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the stone, and the customers who walk in from the street. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that deliveries take twice as long as they should. We just tell people to be patient because that is just how life is in this part of the city. We keep the place open late most nights to finish up.
