Shree Bhirav

We are located at A 4 in Mangal Nagar, which is right on Yari Road in Andheri West. This area is a bit different from the industrial parts of the city. It’s got a lot of residential buildings and small shops mixed together. Our place is on the ground floor of the Panch Mg building. It’s not a very large space, so we have to be careful about how we store things. We have shelves lining every single wall, and even then, we end up putting some items under the tables. The lighting is just a couple of long tube lights that flicker a bit when they first turn on. There is a small window at the back that looks out onto a narrow alley, but we usually keep it shut because of the mosquitoes. Most of the people who come by are local residents or small contractors working in the Yari Road area. We spend the morning sweeping the floor and rearranging the items that got moved the day before. It’s a quiet routine. We don't have any staff in uniforms or a reception desk. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting there reading the newspaper until a customer walks in. The neighborhood is nice, and we know the other shopkeepers on the lane quite well. It’s a steady pace of work without too much stress, just dealing with whatever the day brings to our door in Mangal Nagar.
