Shree Balaji Food

Shree Balaji Food is right on the Kurla Andheri Road, specifically at 1st stage C-94. We are also near the 12th A Main on the 100 Feet Ring Road. It’s a very busy part of town and always feels crowded. We spend our days making snacks and food items in a kitchen that’s always a bit too hot. There is a lot of frying and packing going on from morning until evening. The noise from the traffic outside is constant, but you stop hearing it after a while. We aren't a big factory, just a group of us working in a relatively small space. Sometimes we trip over each other when it gets busy. We use simple ingredients and don't bother with any of that fancy gourmet stuff. Most of our time is spent making sure the batches are consistent and the bags are sealed properly. We’ve had the same stove for a long time and it has its quirks. Dealing with the local authorities and the paperwork is the boring part of the job. We'd rather just be cooking. We don't have a big logo or a marketing plan. People just stop by because they like what we make. It’s hard on the feet, standing on the concrete floor all day. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders finished before we head home. It’s a regular, honest living for us and we've been at it for a while now in this spot. We keep things basic around here.
