Shree Ayurvedic Bhandar

You can find us at the Shiv Plaza Shopping Centre in Kandivali West. We are tucked away behind where the old Subhiksha used to be. It is a small shop, but we have been running Shree Ayurvedic Bhandar from here for quite some time now. The shelves are usually full of different herbs and containers. It always smells like spices and dried plants when you walk inside. Most of the folks who come in live nearby in the neighborhood. We do not have a big fancy sign or anything, just the usual boards that tell you who we are. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter talking to people who come by to visit. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery to arrive. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once. Kandivali gets very crowded in the evenings, so that is when we see most of our visitors. We try to keep things simple. No fancy computers or high-tech stuff, just the basics to keep the business going. My family helps out when things get busy during the festival seasons. We know most of our regulars by their first names. It is a quiet life here at the shopping centre. We are not trying to change the world, just providing what people ask for when they walk through the door. It is an honest living and we enjoy being part of this local community.
