Shree Ashapura

Finding Shop No 48 isn't too difficult if you know where Raghunath Maharaj Temple is. We are right on the main road, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road, which most people just call the main road anyway to save time. Shree Ashapura is a small spot in the middle of all that Whitefield traffic. The road stays pretty busy because of the temple nearby, so there are always people walking past our door. Sometimes the bells from the temple are quite loud, but it’s a nice sound to have in the background while we work. The post office is close too, so we are always running back and forth with mail. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of fans that do their best when it gets humid. We spend a lot of time just talking to the regulars who live in the neighborhood. Raghunath Maharaj S is a long name for a street, and sometimes the couriers get confused, but we’ve been here long enough that most people know where the shop is. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction going on around Whitefield these days. We just keep the floor swept and keep things moving. It’s a local place where we know the names of the folks who pass by every morning. It's not a big corporate operation, just us in our little shop.
