Shiv Sai Clinic

Down here in Charkop Kandivali West, things move pretty fast. Our clinic, Shiv Sai Clinic, is right in the middle of it all. It’s a basic setup. We have the waiting area which is usually full in the evenings. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the people coming through the door. It’s a local crowd. You get to know the families after a few years. Someone comes in with a fever, another person needs a checkup. We just do the work. Kandivali is a busy place, and we are just one small part of the street. It gets dusty outside with all the construction and cars, but inside we keep it as clean as we can. We have our regulars who stop by just to say hello even if they aren't sick. It’s that kind of neighborhood. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. Just the name on the door. It’s simple. We open early most days because that’s when people want to come before work. Then we take a break in the afternoon when it gets too hot. By evening, the lights are on and we're back at it. It’s just regular life here in Charkop. We like being part of the community and we plan to keep it that way for a long time.
