Shakti Building Pipes & Accessories Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in Unit No. 7 of Udyog Nagar. This is on Plot No. 7, just off S.V. Road. If you are near the Kamat Club, you aren't far from our door. Being in an industrial estate means things are always moving. There are always trucks backing in and out, and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant. Our unit is mostly taken up by pipes and different parts, so there isn't much room for a fancy office. We have a couple of desks shoved in the corner where we handle the paperwork. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we are busy, but we know where every file is. We don't have any polished corporate brochures or a mission statement on the wall. We just show up every morning and see what the day brings. Most of our time is spent checking the stock and talking to the drivers. We aren't the kind of place that has a big reception area with magazines. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in the back moving stuff around. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We have been in this part of town for a while and we know the other businesses on the plot. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
