Shaileshkarkhanis

Shaileshkarkhanis is just a small setup we have in Andheri East. We are right in Margadarshan Society, specifically in building 3/5. It is on N.S. Phadke Road, so you might know it if you spend any time in this part of Mumbai. We are pretty much directly across from the Regency Hotel. It’s a busy spot with cars always honking and people rushing to the station. Our office is not anything special to look at. We have a few desks, some old cupboards for files, and a couple of fans that stay on all day because of the heat. Shailesh handles the main bits of the work here. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk in and we talk right there. Sometimes we get tea from the stall around the corner when the afternoon slump hits. The building itself is an older one, but it’s sturdy and keeps us dry when the monsoon starts. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people who know we are here just found us by word of mouth or they live in the neighborhood. It’s a practical place for us. We come in early, do what needs to be done, and head home when the traffic gets too bad. There is no corporate ladder here or anything like that. We just focus on the day's tasks and try to keep things organized. That’s about it.
