Shah Technical Consultants Pvt Ltd is based in the B Wing of the Silverlink building. We’re in the Hiranandani Estate area on G. B. Road in Thane (W). It’s a pretty large office complex, so there are always people moving around the hallways and elevators at all hours. Inside our space, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of cables. We have a lot of files piled up because technical work involves a lot of documentation and physical records. The view out the window shows some of the other tall buildings in Hiranandani Estate, which is okay, I guess. It’s a lot of glass and concrete out there. We don't really do anything special for the decor inside. It’s just white walls and standard office carpet that has seen better days. Most of the staff has been here for a while, so we all know each other’s habits, like who makes the most noise while typing or who drinks the most coffee in the afternoon. We don't have a big public relations department or a glossy website. If someone calls, they usually just talk to whoever is nearest to the phone. Working in Thane means we deal with the G. B. Road traffic every day, which is always a topic of conversation in the break room when someone is late. We just get on with the technical side of things and try to keep everything organized. It’s a professional enough environment, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We just focus on the projects and try to finish up.
