We are located at No. 368 Kalbadevi Road, right near Princess Street. If you’ve ever walked down Kalbadevi Road, you know it’s one of the busiest places you can find. It’s packed with history and commerce, and we’ve been part of that for quite a few years. Our business focuses on optics and instruments, and we also handle a fair amount of export work. This means our space is often filled with crates and packing materials. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a working warehouse and office. The sounds of the street—honking cars, people shouting, and carts rolling by—are just part of our daily background noise. We spend a lot of time checking instruments and making sure everything is packed correctly for long trips. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, and we have to stay focused despite all the distractions outside. We aren’t interested in corporate branding or sounding like a giant multinational. We’re just a local business that knows its trade. Our days are spent talking to suppliers, managing shipments, and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, and the shelves are always full, but we like the energy of the area. Being on Princess Street means we’re right in the heart of things, and that’s just how we like to operate our business. We’ve been at 368 for so long that the stairs are a bit worn down, but it feels like home.
