Scientific Controls

Our shop is located at 278 Samuel Street in Masjid Bunder. If you know Masjid Bunder, you know how narrow the streets are and how many people are constantly moving through. It’s a very old part of the city and it feels like it. We are in one of those buildings that has been around for decades. Inside, we have rows of shelves filled with scientific instruments, gauges, and valves. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are in the shop at the same time. We have been here for a long time and we know most of the other shopkeepers on Samuel Street. We don't have a website that we update or anything like that. Most people just walk in or call us on the landline. The desk is an old wooden one that has been scratched up over the years. We keep our ledger there and a few catalogs that are probably out of date. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we have a small fan that sits on the floor and hums all day. We spend most of our time just helping people find the right size of fitting or a specific gauge they need for their project. It’s a simple life and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them up when the sun goes down.
