Toshvin Analytical has its spot over in Lower Parel, right on N M Joshi Marg. It is a busy area, especially with the station nearby and all the new buildings coming up where the old mills used to be. We are at 103, and the office is usually full of papers and different boxes coming in from various places. It is not one of those silent, perfect offices you see in movies. There is usually a phone ringing somewhere or someone looking for a specific file that got moved. Most of the people here have been around for years, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We deal with a lot of technical equipment, which means things have to be handled carefully, but we don't act like it's a big secret or anything. We just get on with the testing and the paperwork. Lunchtime is when it gets a bit relaxed, with everyone opening their dabbas and the smell of home food filling the room. It can get a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives and we have to move desks around to make space, but we manage. The traffic outside is always a mess in the evenings, so some of us stay a bit late just to let the crowds thin out. It is just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized and get through the list of things to do before heading home.
