We are situated at 23-C in the Miniland area on Tank Road in Bhandup West. It’s a bit of a walk from the railway station, but it’s a decent area once you get here. Our office is more like a warehouse space where we handle all the health care products we distribute. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the inventory to worry about that. There’s a big table in the middle where we sort through the paperwork and incoming shipments. Sometimes the water pressure in the building is low, which is a bit of a nuisance. We have a small staff, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to lifting heavy cartons. The rainy season is always a worry because the road outside tends to get puddles that never seem to dry up. We keep a couple of umbrellas by the door for when we have to run out to the post office. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls; it’s just a practical space where we get the job done. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers, trying to make sure everything arrives on time. It gets a bit chaotic when several deliveries arrive at once, but we manage to sort it out eventually. We close up around seven in the evening and head home like everyone else.
