Sarwade Clinic

Our clinic is located at number 16 in Sakinaka, specifically in Veer Savarkar Nagar. It’s right opposite the Shiv Prabha Building, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. Sakinaka is a very busy, crowded part of the city, and our clinic reflects that energy. It’s a small, functional room where we see patients for their everyday health problems. There’s a bench outside for people to wait on if the inside gets too full. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. There’s a desk, a couple of chairs, and the medicine cabinets. The walls are a bit plain, and the floor is just simple tile. Most of our patients live right here in Veer Savarkar Nagar, so they just walk over when they aren't feeling well. You can always hear the sound of motorbikes and rickshaws zooming past the entrance. It’s a very grounded place. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn’t. It’s a neighborhood clinic for neighborhood people. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just open the door to let the light in. We’ve been here long enough to know the local rhythms. It’s a lot of hard work, especially during the monsoon when the streets get messy, but we stay open to see whoever needs us. It’s just a plain, honest spot in a busy corner of town. We keep a register of everyone who visits on a small wooden podium near the door. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze but it works for us.
