Sarvodayaeye Hospital

Sarvodayaeye Hospital is tucked into the Dinar Building, right on Station Road in Santacruz West. We are at number 106. Being so close to the station means there is always a crowd outside and plenty of noise from the trains and the traffic. It’s a busy part of town, which makes it easy for people to find us, I suppose. The building itself is one of those older structures you see a lot of in Santacruz. Inside, we focus on eyes. People come in with all kinds of problems, from needing new glasses to more serious things. The rooms are a bit small, but we have the equipment we need to get the job done. It’s not like those big corporate hospitals with glass walls and coffee shops. We just have a simple waiting area and the consultation rooms. Sometimes the power flutters or the elevator in the building acts up, but we manage. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know how to handle the daily rush. It gets pretty hectic on Monday mornings especially. We just try to keep things moving so people aren't sitting around for too long. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t do a lot of fancy talking; we just look at what's wrong with your vision and try to help out. It's a bit worn around the edges, but it's a real place run by real people who know their way around an eye exam.
