Saransh Ceramic

Saransh Ceramic is tucked away in Shop 4 of the Gokul Building. If you know Gaushala Lane on Daftary Road in Malad East, you know it can be a bit of a squeeze. We’ve been in this little shop for a good while. It’s packed with tiles and ceramic pieces from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to move around in here without bumping into something. We don’t have a big, fancy showroom like the ones you see in the magazines. It’s just us in a small space, showing people samples and helping them pick out what they need. Malad East is a busy place, and the lane gets quite crowded during the day. We spend a lot of time dusting the displays because the street dust always finds its way inside. We aren't big on corporate talk. We just tell people what we have in stock and what we can get for them. Often, the neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We like it here even if it’s a bit cramped. It feels like home after all these years. We just keep the lights on and help whoever walks through the door. It’s simple work, but it keeps us going. Nothing more to it than that. We just focus on the ceramics and keep the ledger updated.
