Stoneage Marble

We run Stoneage Marble over on Sunil North Avenue in Santacruz West. It is a bit of a busy spot but you can find us at number 36/3. Mostly we just deal with marble slabs and different kinds of stone for houses. People stop by to look at the patterns because every piece looks a little different. It is a lot of physical work, loading things and making sure nothing breaks. The guys here have been doing this for a long time now. We are not a big fancy showroom with bright lights, just a place where you can see the actual stock. We keep the yard open during the usual hours. Most people come in wanting something specific for a kitchen or a bathroom floor. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to find the right match. We just show what we have in the back. The location in Santacruz West is convenient for local builders too. It gets pretty loud when we are cutting or moving slabs around. We just try to keep things moving. There is always a lot of dust because that is just how working with stone goes. We handle the deliveries when someone buys a bunch of slabs. It is a straightforward business really. We do not spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork, mostly just out there with the stone. If you are around Sunil North Avenue, you will see the trucks coming in and out. That is pretty much what goes on here every day.
