Sangita Chadhas Physiotherapy Clinic

Being over in Andheri West is always a bit of a scramble with the traffic and the noise, but we’ve been tucked away in B Wing of the Sunshine building for quite some time now. You find us at number 7 in the Lokhandwala Complex area, specifically on 1st Cross Lane. The clinic isn’t very big, just a few rooms where we have the mats and the ultrasound machines set up. It smells a bit like rubbing alcohol and that wintergreen oil people use for their joints. We have a small window that looks out towards the other buildings, though there isn't much of a view. The lift in the building can be a bit moody, so sometimes people just take the stairs if they aren't feeling too stiff. Most of the people who come in live right here in the complex or just a few streets away. It’s a lot of talk about back pain and old injuries while the fans hum overhead. We try to keep the place tidy, but with people coming in and out all day, there’s always a bit of a mess with the towels. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have those fancy receptionists you see in the big hospitals. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone while helping someone with their stretches. It stays pretty busy until late evening when the shops downstairs start closing up.
