Sandip Advertising operates out of house number seven in the Narayan Kunj Society. We are located in Sector 2 of Gandhinagar. It’s more of a home-office setup than a big corporate building. I have a couple of printers and a big computer where I work on designs for banners and local flyers. It’s usually a bit messy with rolls of paper and ink bottles sitting around. I started this because I like making things that people can see on the street. I handle everything myself, from talking to the clients to actually getting the printing done. Sometimes the printer jams and I have to spend an hour fixing it, which is frustrating. The neighbors in Narayan Kunj are used to seeing people coming and going with signs and posters. It’s a quiet residential street, so I try not to make too much noise with the machines late at night. My desk is covered in coffee rings and scraps of vinyl. I don't have a fancy portfolio to show people, I just show them what I’ve done for the shop down the road. It’s a small operation, but it keeps me busy. If you’re looking for someone to help with a small sign or some cards, I’m usually here during the day. Just knock on the door and I’ll come out to talk.
