SAMRAT COT YARN PRIVATE LIMITED

So we are based out here in Akola, specifically at Gurdhi in Gat No. 4. It’s a bit out of the main city center, but it works for what we do at Samrat Cot Yarn. The place is mostly just cotton and more cotton. My name is on the registry but really it's a team effort with the Surwade family involved in the day to day stuff. We spend a lot of time looking at yarn and making sure the counts are right before they get loaded onto the trucks. Akola gets incredibly hot in the summers, you probably know that if you live around here. The fans in the office barely do anything when it's forty-five degrees outside. We keep a stash of cold water in the back for the drivers and the workers. It’s not a fancy office at all. We have desks that have been here for years and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that. Most days start early because the light is better for checking the stock. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are in Gurdhi. It's a simple life, dealing with cotton and yarn every single day. We've seen the market go up and down so many times. You just keep your head down and keep moving the product. That’s how things go here. We just try to stay honest and do our part.
