Samarth Eye Clinic

Samarth Eye Clinic is located on the ground floor of the Gold Coin Apartment. If you know where Vakola Church is in Santacruz East, you can find us pretty easily because we are right opposite to it. Santacruz East is a very busy part of the city, and there is always a lot of noise and people walking by outside our windows. Being on the ground floor is handy for people who don’t want to climb stairs or wait for an elevator. We see a lot of different people every day who have trouble seeing things clearly. Our clinic is basically just a few rooms where we keep our equipment and charts. It is a bit of a tight fit sometimes when we have a lot of patients, but we make it work. The light in the front room is good for reading, which is helpful. We spend our hours checking eyes and talking to people about their glasses. It is steady work. We’ve been in the Gold Coin Apartment for a bit now and the neighbors are all used to us being here. Sometimes the traffic by the church gets backed up, but that is just life in this part of town. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It is just a local eye clinic where we try to help out as much as we can. We are just regular people doing a job.
