Saifee Hospital

We are over at No. 106 Modi Chambers on the 1st Floor. It’s right there at French Bridge, which most people know because it is opposite the Opera House. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic near French Bridge, you’ve probably seen the building. It’s an old spot with a lot of history in the walls. Being on the first floor means there are some stairs to climb, but it isn’t too bad for most. The noise from the bridge is constant, especially during the rush hour when everyone is honking their horns. It becomes like background music after a few weeks of working here. Modi Chambers has that old Mumbai feel to it. The hallways are a bit dim, and the elevators can be a bit moody sometimes, so we usually just take the steps to get upstairs. Being opposite the Opera House makes it easy to give directions, though. You just tell people to look for the bridge and the big old theater across the way. Saifee Hospital has been part of this little pocket for a long time. It’s a busy place with people coming in from all over the area. We don’t really do much in the way of decoration or fancy things. We just focus on what needs to be done. The windows look out onto the street, and you can see the city moving by. It’s a practical location for everyone involved.
