Saibaba Stone & Tiles

Our shop, Saibaba Stone & Tiles, is tucked into the Pearl Co-Operative Housing Society Limited on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road. Being located in Dadar East means there is always something going on right outside our front doors. The traffic on Ambedkar Road is pretty much constant from morning till night, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. We carry a mix of different stones and various tiles for all sorts of local building projects. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes inside the shop because the stone pieces are very large and heavy. We have various samples lined up along the walls so people can feel the texture of the material for themselves. Most of our customers are locals from the housing societies nearby or contractors who are working on small renovations in the Dadar area. We don't have a lot of room for a big office or a fancy waiting area, so we mostly do our paperwork on a small wooden desk near the entrance. It is a very hands-on kind of job for us. We spend a lot of time moving heavy items around just to show people what is sitting at the bottom of a pile. It gets a bit messy with the dust from the stones, but that is just part of the daily trade. We have been here long enough that most people know us.
