Sai Precision Engineers

If you go to Goregaon East, near the Good Earth Foundry, you’ll find us at B5. We are Sai Precision Engineers. The shop floor is usually pretty loud because the machines are always running. You'll see a lot of metal scraps and tools lying around if you walk in. It’s definitely not a clean place; getting grease on your hands is part of the job here. Most of our time goes into working on different parts and making sure every measurement is right. Since it's hard work, the shop stays quite warm from all the machinery. Being near the foundry means there is always a lot of industrial activity on this street. You hear trucks coming and going and the sound of heavy metal being moved all day. We usually have our lunch together on a small table shoved in the corner. It’s a simple enough life. There isn't really a front office to speak of, so everything happens right in the workshop. I’ve been working here for a long time now and the smell of oil and iron is just normal to me. We keep the machines maintained as best as we can. It’s a bit of a struggle when a part doesn't fit right and we have to start over, but that is just engineering. We stay until the job is done and then head home.
