I’ve been at Govind Vihar for a long time now. My space is on the sixth floor, room 601, right in Tardeo. It’s one of those parts of Mumbai where things never really stop moving. If you know this building, you know the elevator can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get somewhere. I mostly handle things from here, sitting at my desk near the window. You can see a bit of the street from up here, though it’s mostly just roofs and other windows. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a practical place to work and get things done. Sometimes the traffic noise from down below gets a bit loud, especially in the evenings, but you get used to it after a week or two. I’ve lived and worked around here for years, so I know most of the people in the building by face at least. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights outside. People usually find me because they already know where Govind Vihar is. It’s a quiet enough setup once you’re inside the room. I spend most of my day answering calls and sorting through papers. There isn't much to say about it except that we’re here every day, making sure things are moving along. It’s a simple life in Tardeo, really. No fuss, just regular work day in and day out.
